Wilfred Owen Tribute, Ripon Cathedral

Texts by Wilfred Owen set upon a palisade form, sited beneath a gothic canopy from a consistory court. North Aisle Chapel for Peace and Justice, Ripon Cathedral. The occasion for this commission was the remembrance of World War One, one hundred years on, and the recollection that Owen left for the Front for the last time following a stay in Ripon during which he wrote and revised a number of his finest poems.

Oak with graphite and bronze powders.
